Tuff N Smart Freckle and Missin Gun

The girls are doing great. We've had Cutie under saddle for about 21 days total she never bucked. Last week we took her to a cutting practice and let her walk into the cows. Ive had a saddle, weights, and our dummy on her the only thing she done was to bite the foot of the dummy. Blake has sat on her but has not ask her to move. I don't think she is going to buck either. Its been so hot here we have just been taking it slow with them.

Piper...aka Foxy Bay tobiano filly by Kiss My Tonto and out of Blackhawks Rocket.

Mr Hudson,
here are some pics of Piper. she has become a beautiful young lady and is very seasoned already. Very easy going soft and supple with ground work and giving to pressure I cannot wait til next spring when we may be able to saddle her up. She is excellent on the longe line and has started ground driving. This filly has filled the void I was left with after having to euthanize my paint gelding that was my best friend. Thanks alot for working with us and making the sale happen. Hope you and your family are doing well. Keep in touch.

Reya. 2010 Bay Filly by ATV and Larks Playgun.

Mike and family,

I wanted to send you an update on how the little bay filly is doing. I have decided to call her Reya. She is settled in nicely with a herd of 2 minis, a donkey and 2 other full size mares. I am amazed at how easy to handle she is and how she is such a willing learner. She can already stand tied to be groomed and have all 4 feet handled better than most older horses. She leads and ponies like a dream off of my mare. She herds my dog around and is already showing her cow horse blood.

I am enjoying her very much and thank you for giving me the opportunity to have such a nice little filly.

I have attached a couple of pictures for you to see her. She is in full winter fluff and is quite adorable standing to be groomed. In the second picture, I was getting her used to blankets and you can see she has quite a lot to grow to fit into my Thoroughbred’s blanket. She wasn’t fazed by anything! In the last picture, she is hanging out in the field with my mini mare and Delilah.

Thanks!!

Here is a video of Missin Gun Flame, 3 year old filly out of Missin Gun and Gunnin It. Her half brother is on the farm, and ready to be sold.

Missin Gun Flame

I just wanted to update and let y'all know how Missin Gun Flame was doing. She ran her first rodeo Saturday night, competing in barrels and got an amazing 16.306. She has been the fasted learning 3yro ever. I can rope calves off her, work cows, barrel race and anything else asked of her, she is great!!!! When i get picture I will definitely send it. I saw her half brother out of Missin Flame, I was wondering how much y'all are asking for him, and if you could still maybe (hopefully) breed back in 2011 for a full brother or sister to Missin Gun Flame i would be promising to buy he/she as a weanling.
